Im looking at getting a controller for these (WS2812B) Led strips and i want to be able to connect it to my phone. I want the controller to be able to control 25m (80ft) of led strips. I dont know if i will need two controllers or not. and if so, am I able to connect those controllers together to work in sync. I also want to be able to us an IR remote and was wondering if that remote can control multiple controllers. I just dont know the difference between the different ones i just know i dont kneed the one with microphone.

The length is insignificant. How many LEDs is the determinate variable. An ESP8266-based controller can typically handle 1,000 LEDs. An ESP32-based controller is good for 1,500 to 2,000 LEDs. The biggest mistake people make is in powering the LED strips only at one end. A general rule of thumb is to inject power every 50 to 100 LEDs to maintain consistent brightness and color along the strip. Inadequate power distribution will present issues like flickering or color shifts.
Athom makes a controller with the WLED program pre-installed. You install the WLED app on your phone or PC and control the LEDs on those devices.
