Can the LS5P be used to control a 24 Volt Tunable Single color LED? If so, what where should the three wires go? What power supply needed?

I was advised to connect as follows:

VCC----->Red

R---------->Yellow

G---------->White

Following these instructions causes the controller to lock in the on position and not accept commands.

I experimented with several combinations and the correct wiring for a tunable white COB strip is:

VCC----->Red

R---------->White

W---------->Yellow
