Hi,
Just bought one of these second hand, but it doesn't show any SSID on my wireless network.
I have no info with it other than it runs Tasmota.
Is there a way to factory reset it or can I just use something like Tasmotiser to overwrite the firmware with the latest version of Tasmota?
Thanks,
Richie
Ok,
So tried the various methods of resetting the device and still don't get the WIFI SSID appearing.
Any info on which version of Tasmota I can flash to it? I'm guessing the one with "sensors" in.
I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 and have installed Tasmotizer (which runs esptool.py in the background), but I get this error: esptool.py v2.8
Serial port /dev/ttyUSB0
Connecting....
Chip is ESP8266EX
Features: WiFi
WARNING: Detected crystal freq 19.87MHz is quite different to normalized freq 26MHz. Unsupported crystal in use?

Has anyone successfully managed to flash Tasmota onto it?
