I have 4 units of athom plug v2 via homekit firmware.
I tried to flash them with esphome firmware over the web interface. after the progress bar finished, I got an alert: "oh, snap! ..." and the plugs became unresponsive.
I tried to flash the first one with a firmware I've compiled on my own with the configs from the github (https://github.com/athom-tech/athom-configs/blob/main/athom-smart-plug-v2.yaml).
After reading this (https://he.athom.tech/forum/esphome-related-1/reflash-tasmota-with-esphome) I tried to flash the second one with the firmware from here: https://github.com/athom-tech/athom-configs/actions/runs/4528754952
No luck as well, the plug is dead.
I made sure there is enough free memory before I started the upgrade.
what did I do wrong? How do I need to flash the other 2 plugs, and how do I fix the 2 broken plugs?
i have the Same problem how to fix this ???
You should upgrade the "ESP8266_MINI.bin" firmware first, and then upgrade the ESPHome firmware instead of directly upgrading the ESPHome firmware
