I have the mmWave presence detector, and it will initially detect motion but seems to get "stuck" in "Detected" until I restart the device. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
I had my presence sensor plugged into the same extension cord as with a DC electric fan. When the fan was running, the presence sensor would get 'stuck' all the time! As soon as I unplugged it, it's been working flawlessly for 2 weeks. As soon as I plugged the fan in again and turned it on, it starts getting 'stuck' again.
Did not help. The lux is changing, so its reading it properly, but the mmWave sensor has been on "Detected" for 19 hours now. The PIR is detecting motion.
This isn't the case with mine... I have two units in two different offices and the OFFICE is completely empty and even the PIR isn't triggering but the MMWave seems to stick. I have to put the power off and on to fix it as a reboot doesn't even do prevent this issue. It is almost like the MMWave sensor itself is stuck in a detect mode and resetting the ESP doesn't even fix it hence the power.
I just figured this out!

Hope that helps!

Hallo,
You should check for sources of interference (moving things) around the sensor, or turn down the sensitivity
